Franklin Lakes is a borough within Bergen County, New Jersey. The borough formed in 1922 and was named after Ben Franklin’s son, William Franklin. Franklin Lakes has been the setting of many reality TV shows, including The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Franklin Lakes Fire Department – During a blizzard in the winter of 1924, 25 volunteers stepped up to form what became the Franklin Lakes Fire Department. Franklin Lakes Fire Department currently has two fire stations that respond to over 500 emergencies a year.
